Become a Member

Becoming a member of the Salem VA Credit Union is easy and simple. Just complete the information below to request membership or come by the Credit Union and start a share/savings account with an initial deposit of $5.00 (the minimum required to maintain membership).

Eligibility for Membership
Membership is open to anyone living, working, going to school, volunteering or worshiping in the county of Roanoke, the cities of Salem and Roanoke and the town of Vinton, Virginia.

Family Membership
Our membership is open to immediate family members. Immediate family members include: Spouse, Brother, Sister, Mother, Father, Grandparents, Grandchildren, Children, Step-Children, Step-Siblings and adoptive relationships.
